exChange helps schools to twin - 1/7/2010

Newfield Special School and Avondale Primary School, both from Blackburn with Darwen, have been helped to twin by exChange of Blackburn Cathedral and Woman's Voice to create awareness in the wider community about children with special needs.

An agreement as a symbol of friendship and co-operation has been signed by representative of all four organizations,
to work towards sharing knowledge, skills, expertise and experience, with the aim of improving and enriching the lives
of the pupils of both schools, and bringing the wider communities on occasions to bridge gaps in the understanding of
different communities.
