Facilities Hire

The Cathedral Court complex, completed in July 2016, is the first such addition to an English Cathedral for over 500 years. Directly opposite Blackburn railway station and within easy reach of town centre car parks, Cathedral Court has facilities for hire which are located adjacent to the Cathedral.

The following facilities are available

The Cloister Garth at the heart of the development is a tranquil garden space with fountain, appropriate seating and recreational opportunities. The Garth is open to the public and is adjacent to the Temple Gallery which can be hired in conjunction with the Garth for a private function.

The Temple Gallery is an exhibition and private dining space with stunning views over Cathedral Square and the Cloister Garth.

The Library is a dedicated study space with IT facilities as well as traditional reference resources and is available for meetings.

A Conference Room with the usual conferencing facilities, is furnished to a high specification in line with the standards in the rest of the complex. This space can be divided and each part can be hired in conjunction with the library above.

Café Northcote on the ground floor of the complex opens out onto Cathedral Square and provides a variety of high quality food options, from a formal dinner to snacks as you go.
