From the splendour of our listed Cathedral and contemporary conference facilities to the modern interiors of our popular café – Checks & Greys – we can help ensure your next event is as unique as it is memorable.
We regularly host artistic and cultural events such as classical and popular music concerts, theatre performances, panel discussions and exhibitions.
The excellent acoustics and a truly unique atmosphere means it is also a perfect location for ceremonies, presentations, conferences and formal banquets. And whilst the capacity of the main Cathedral building varies depending on layouts, it is the ideal venue for large-scale events.
The Cathedral is available for daytime and evening hire, subject to availability and other activities within the Cathedral.

We offer private events in our Crypt to networking drinks in the Temple Gallery, relaxed gatherings and small scale celebrations in other areas or why not make use of our stunning cloister gardens?

Meetings and conference spaces
In addition to the main Cathedral building, we have a variety of meeting and conference space available in the modern Cathedral Court complex which are perfect for both for small and larger groups.
Checks & Greys café
Our contemporary café bar is a spacious, light-filled venue, accommodating over 60 seated guests with ease. Available for private hire every evening from 4:30pm onwards, it's the ideal venue choice for smaller, relaxed occasions.
Conveniently located and fully licensed, our café bar offers everything you need for a successful event.
On-site catering
Our event team offer catering services within any of our Cathedral spaces, Checks & Greys or any other external venue of your preference, tailored to your every need.
